  1. Dramatic Irony: Line 885- 890: the result of the reader having a greater knowledge than the characters themselves
  2. Imagery: Line 1003: Creates an idea in the reader's mind in order to better understand an incident
  3. Double entendre: Line 1079: Has a double meaning
  4. Dialogue: Used in all nine pages, gives a good understanding to the audience of the characters' emotions
  5. Burlesque: Line 907-956: A situation that is meant for the audience to laugh as it is so exaggerated and comedic
  6. Sexual Innuendo: Line 979 and Line 982: Used to make the story more interesting and comedic, often has two meanings (Double entendre)
  7. Rhyme: Line 1045-1060: Used to make words or dialogue more catchy and funny
  8. Allusion: Line 1091: "We'll all end up shagging Cleisthenes!" Allusion to Cleisthenes who is an Athenian statesman- comedy relief
  9. Absurdist Comedy and quick costume change: Line 1095: Expressions of nonsense and irrational situations
  10. Role reversal and situational irony: Line 1024
